LinkedIn Connector FAQ and Configuration Steps
Overview
The LinkedIn Connector allows you to retrieve various types of information from a LinkedIn Company Page.
Prerequisites
Access to the LinkedIn Developers page
Admin access to the company page or admin authorization
A role on the LinkedIn company page.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Add a New Data Feed in Navori CMS
Log in to the Navori CMS.
Click on + Datafeed to add a new data feed.
Select LinkedIn from the drop-down list.
Assign a descriptive name to your data feed.
2. Set Up LinkedIn Developer Application
Log in to LinkedIn Developer Platform.
Navigate to My Apps > + Create App.
Provide a name for your application and select the company page you want to link.
Go to Settings and verify the linked company page.
3. Request API Access
Go to Products and scroll to Pages Data Portability API.
Submit a request form for access (LinkedIn may take a few days to approve)
4. Retrieve API Credentials
Navigate to Auth in your LinkedIn Developer App.
Copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
5. Generate an OAuth Token
Go to Docs and Tools > OAuth Token Tool.
Create a token and copy it into the Refresh Token field in the Navori CMS connector configuration.
6.Enter the LinkedIn Page URL Correctly
Use only the company name from the LinkedIn URL.
Example: If the company’s LinkedIn URL is:https://www.linkedin.com/company/navori-sa/ The correct value to enter is: navori-sa.
