Open the Power BI Report you want to display. Select File > Embed Report > Website or Portal
Copy the Top URL and move to your CMS to add your Power BI content.
Verifying Update:
Log in to your account, navigate to your player, and open the player properties.
Navigate to the right, using the Directional arrow, and confirm your player is on 2.7 under License Information:
Adding Power Bi Content
Under the content window, right-click and select Add>URL
Add a Name to your Content. Then take your Secure Embed Report link and paste it in the HTML field of the Content Properties window.
Please note: The duration is the update rate of the content. The duration may need to be increased if your report is not loading the first time within the default 15 second duration.
Using the Directional Arrow, navigate to the right until you see Authentication and Click Refresh:
Note: Authentication can take a couple minutes you will see 3 dots pulsing in place of the Refresh button when QL is processing the request. You may be required to refresh multiple times to capture all elements.
Once the Authentication is completed several fields will be generated. Enter the username (Top blank field) and password (Bottom Blank Field) of the Power BI account, see below.
The media is now setup, and you can hit, OK.
Adding the Content to a Playlist
Now that the content is created you can add it to a New or Existing Playlist, Schedule and send a publish to the player:
To Add a playlist right click in the Playlists column and Select “Add Playlist”
To Add your content to the playlist simply drag and drop
Adding Content to the Scheduling Grid
Repeat the same step for your playlist, Drag and Drop into the scheduling grid.
After Dropping the Playlist on the current date make sure the Playlist Bar is overlapping the red line(representing the current time).
If the Schdule needs to be edited click the “Pencil Icon” in the bottom right, and enter the desired times.
Publishing
Make sure your player(s) you want to publish to are selected, indicated by a “Check Mark” in the box next to the player
Select Monitoring
Confirm the Correct Player is selected and click Publish
