Qompose features a new and improved Analytics tab that enriches the Proof of Play and audience data for your media players and content. This gives you a deeper understanding of your content performance across your digital signage network. In this article, we'll cover what's new and what has changed from QL2.
A consolidated "Group by" control
Previously, aggregating your results by Group or Date required a separate dropdown, with Played In Full handled as its own standalone checkbox elsewhere on the screen.
These have now been combined into a single Group by section, where you can tick Group, Date, and/or Played In Full together in one place.
A single Filter view field
Previously, filtering your results by content name, Tag, or Ad Ref. required separate parameter boxes for each.
This is now handled through a single Filter view field, where you can enter the full or partial name of a piece of content, or an assigned Tag, to narrow your results.
Direct CSV and PDF export
Previously, exporting a report meant saving it as an Excel file via a save dialog.
You can now export directly as either:
Export CSV — download your current report as a CSV file
Export PDF — download your current report as a PDF (which contains multiple options depending on your preferences: graph only, data only, or a PDF combining the two)
The new Top list panel
Previously, your report included a single graph summarising performance located at the top of the screen.
This has been replaced by the right-hand side Top list panel — a ranked leaderboard of your best-performing content by impressions, shown alongside a donut chart and a central Total impressions figure for your entire selected scope. Use the dropdown in the top-right of this panel to control how many items are listed (e.g., 10).
Updated columns
Your results table has also changed slightly:
New: A % column has been added, showing each item's share of total impressions across your selected scope
Removed: Group, Players, Date, Position X:Y, Height/Width, and Ad Ref. are no longer shown by default in the results table
Summary
Filtering, exporting, and reviewing your top content are now faster and more consolidated than before — fewer separate controls, and a clearer visual summary of what's performing best, right on the same screen as your results.
