Viewing Playback Reports and Audience Metrics for your Media

Written by Giuseppe

(Optional) Requirements before you begin

  • The Aquaji Add-On enabled on your Network, if you'd like to view audience metrics alongside playback data

Accessing a Media asset's Reporting

You can access a piece of content's Reporting from either of the following locations:

  • From the Content Library — right-click your asset and select Edit

  • From a Playlist — right-click the asset directly within the Playlist and select Edit

Alternatively, click the (three dots) icon next to Trash on your selected asset.

  • Once the asset's properties are open, select the Reporting tab

Running a report

  • Under Reporting, choose the period of time you'd like to report on

  • Click Search

Your full report will now display below, giving you a complete picture of this asset's playback data for the period selected — including Impressions, the number of full playthroughs this asset has had.

Please Note (Placeholder as unsure if Aquaji data populates)

Audience metric data depends on whether you have the Aquaji Add-On enabled, and whether active audience data is currently being returned for that specific asset. If neither applies, only playback (Impressions) data will be shown.

Exporting your report

  • Click Export CSV to instantly download a CSV file containing the playback data for your chosen reporting window

Summary

With playback and audience data accessible directly from a Media asset's own properties, you're able to quickly check how a specific piece of content is performing — impressions, and viewership where available — without needing to build a separate report elsewhere.
