Requirements before you begin
Access to Group Properties on your user account
In this article, we will outline how to carry out bulk actions — Diagnostic, Reboot, Reset, Screen Off, and Upgrade — across every Player within a Group at once.
Accessing bulk actions for a Group
Log into your Navori QL Server
Find the Group you'd like to carry out bulk actions on
Right-click the Group (or click the ⋮ icon) and select Edit
Under the General tab, scroll to the Maintenance section
The available actions
Diagnostic — pulls a snapshot of each Player and its device specs at the moment you request it, mainly used for troubleshooting. To view the returned data and accompanying screenshot for an individual Player, head to that Player's own Diagnostic tab within its Properties.
Reboot Now — remotely restarts every Player in the Group, like a power cycle. No content or programming is deleted — it simply shuts down and starts back up.
Reset Now — returns every Player in the Group to a "newly installed" state, deleting all content and programming. Screens will show the default media image until a new update is published.
Screen Off — instantly sets every screen in the Group to Off. Pressing it again sets them back to On.
Please Note
If a Player's Technical Profile has its own screen on/off schedule configured, that schedule will override this setting once it next triggers.
Upgrade — pushes the latest QL software update to every Player in the Group.
Summary
With Diagnostic, Reboot, Reset, Screen Off, and Upgrade all available at Group level, you're able to manage and maintain every Player in a Group at once, rather than repeating the same action individually across each device.
