Please note that BrightSign firmware version 8.3.46 is no longer recommended for this process. To ensure the best performance and compatibility, we suggest updating to a more recent version.
Requirements for BrightSign QL Player Setup:
You will require the following for a successful configuration:
BrightSign Player
Class 10 Micro SD Card (We recommend purchasing the SD Card through BrightSign)
Minimum Firmware: 8.0.127
(Note: for zipped HTML media playback, please have firmware 8.2.55.
Navori and Customers out in the field have experienced great feed with BrightSign firmware 8.2.75. (Before upgrading firmware, we highly suggest testing on your internal players before distributing out to live players)Navori QL Player 2.2.5
Navori has tested the following models:
XD1034/5, XT1144/5, HD1024/5, LS424/445For those using Portrait content please review the following FAQ - https://extranet.navori.com/ng/#/faq/5405
Please note: As the more Navori adds additional functionality and features to the software, the degrading of the LS424 and HD1024 is getting due to the lower specs. Our recommendation is to leave your LS424 player running on 2.2.5.
IF you have 1 video, you will begin to notice your player might display a black frame at each loop with higher versions of the Navori software, so we recommend your hardware is no longer upgraded to any higher version than 2.2.5.
Please Note:
For optimal template playback it is recommended to use the XT and XD BrightSign models.
LS is not recommended for Template playback.
Customers using the LS or HD models, please use the following version, this is to address video playback issues. Add the zip directly to an existing player already running Navori and reboot: DOWNLOAD HERE
