Pre-requisites:
Server and Player version 2.11.8 +
Players need to have Vistar Media and Hivestack Add-on.
Serial Number of Players need to be sent to Vistar Media (Customers with access to a Vistar account control panel can do it by himself) in order to make the match between the Vistar “VenueID” and the QL Player “Serial Number”.
You need to enter the serial number of your QL Players with dashes but spaces must be removed, example: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXIn the QL Technical Profiles, there is a new field that need to be filled with a Vistar Network ID and Vistar API Key, the Customer who has an account with Vistar will enter the Vistar Network ID and Vistar API Key here and apply this technical profile to all the players connecting to the Vistar library.
Whenever Adding a new Programmatic DOOH content, the user shall select either it is on Vistar or Vistar Demo.
This is because Vistar Media provide two kinds of assets, one that is accessible on their Staging environment, and one that is on their production environment. This selection will connect to the ad campaign library associated.
