Screen Control
Overview:
The screen control feature allows you to remotely turn the screen ON or OFF using the Stix 3800 via the CMS and QL Mobile.
Supported Screens:
Tizen (versions 4 to 7)
WebOS (versions 4 and 6)
Philips A8, Philips A11, Hisense, ViewSonic, Sharp NEC, Sony, Vestel, and BenQ
Prerequisites:
✔️ Stix 3800
✔️ LAN connection between Stix 3800 and the screen
✔️ Two RJ-45 cables
Setup:
Connect the Stix 3800 to the internet using the WAN port (RJ-45 cable).
Connect the Stix 3800 to the screen via HDMI.
Connect the LAN port of the Stix 3800 to the screen's Ethernet port using an RJ-45 cable.
If the WAN is not connected to a PoE switch, use a USB-C power cable for power.
How to Control the Screen from CMS:
Open Player Properties in the CMS.
Navigate to the second tab.
Select a technical profile with a predefined ON/OFF schedule or define it manually.
If a camera is connected, enable Smart Efficiency to turn off the screen when no one is detected and turn it back on when movement is detected.
How to Control the Screen from QL Mobile:
Log into QL Mobile.
Go to Settings.
Select the player connected to the screen.
Toggle the ON/OFF button.
