How to use Nexmosphere Lift Place And Learn with your Stix3700, 3800 or Windows player

First, ensure that the Nexmosphere Lift & Learn Add-on is enabled. Please contact your sales representative at Navori if needed.

You will also need Nexmosphere sensors, which can be explored further on the Nexmosphere website: https://www.nexmosphere.com/

Hardware required for this Use Case:

  • XNR-S14 - RFID tag (number 1-4)

  • XN-185 - Xperience Controller

  • XR-AXX - Antenna [A45, A50, A55, A60, A70, A80]

  • XR-DR1 or DR2 - XR Antenna Driver

  • CA-UM6B - USB-micro USB Power Supply

  • CAX-M6W - X-talk cable (micro USB)

Next, connect your Nexmosphere sensor to your player, making sure to note the port number on the Nexmosphere sensor.

In QL Manager, add the media you want to trigger to your Trigger - Published folder.

Ensure that the media is named following this format:

xxxxx-lift-numberxxxxxxx

xxxxx-place-numberxxxxxx

Using lift or learn depending of your usage, and number can be port number or tag number depending of your setup
xxxxxxx can be the name of your choice, or empty

For example, if your media is named Makeup, you are using lift and learn and the sensor is connected to Nexmosphere port number 1, the file should be named Makeup-lift-001.

If you are using place and learn and using tag number 2, you will name your media Makeup-place-002

Finally, publish and restart your player. Your sensor should now trigger the corresponding media in your Trigger - Published folder.


Place’n’Learn

Overview:

This feature allows interactive content playback when a physical object or product is placed on a sensor-equipped shelf or display.

Example Use Case:

  • When a product is placed on the sensor, a related promotional video or content is triggered.

  • When the product is removed, the content stops or switches to default content.

Prerequisites:

✔️ Place’n’Learn sensor
✔️ QL player connected to the sensor

Setup:

  1. Add a Place’n’Learn event in QL.

  2. Link the sensor to the event.

  3. Assign the content to be displayed when the sensor is triggered.
